Feeling so lucky to able to share these memories of a lovely day filled with family and friends. Can't wait to look back at this day in one years' time.

Kick Back & Relax
Blizzard! Meaning: time to take and post some photos. Santa was quite thoughtful this year. He brought me a Fish-Eye Lens Adapter for Christmas! Pretty fun, and luckily, inexpensive. Santa's pockets weren't threadbare in his gift choices. ;)
The Lens Adapter is pretty cool. It's wide angle, so zooming in for a detailed shot doesn't allow you to get that "fish-bowl" look. But, if you keep your zoom far out, the fish-eye takes effect. I can't WAIT until the the snow lets up to get out and about to take some wide-angle landscape shots with it.
Here's some of my first attempts in monochrome, all snowed in. :)

Just a Lil' Bit of Christmas
*Christmas in the Cottage*
Just to share a little bit of love of my second favorite time of year.
I'm not an elaborate decorator, but how can you not love
twinkly lights and the aroma of a fresh cut pine tree?
A few of my favorite things about the holiday season...basketball (NCAA to be specific), Santa and a Christmas tree. |
An imperfectly perfect star to wish on. |
