For those that have known me for more than 4+ years, I was once Queen of the quote: "I will never get married." I simply felt that I had too many things to DO, and honestly believed that (to be frank) "settling down" wasn't in the cards.

I thought wrong.

I met my husband to-be a little over 4 years ago, and I figured out rather quickly that "settling down" didn't necessarily mean that I couldn't do the things I wanted. In fact, the things I wanted multiplied. Now, my checklist has turned into *ours* and it wouldn't be complete without finishing each item's sentence with "together." We share *dreams and goals* - a friendship that does not include "settling down", at least, in its commonplace meaning. 

What we have is anything but commonplace, and I love every minute of my life with him.
