I read, literally, all the time. I read at work, I read at home, I read on the move. Some of it is history, some of it is research, some of it is just plain keeping up with news. For work recently, I've been questioning local teachers and curriculum directors. All they can talk about is this push for literacy in the classroom. It's hard for me to comprehend that children are making it through grade levels WITHOUT learning how to read. I can't imagine life without it.
