I can't sew to save me life, seriously. I was never really into learning how, either. 

 

Back in the day, I was working - teaching - at the National Heritage Museum (worth a visit if you've never been - they pick up some really funky traveling exhibits), and they hosted Art of the Needle. A collection of quilts from the Shelbourne Museum.

 

Unbelievable.

Lace

(intricacies.)

To me, lace is delicate and well-thought out. It's a beautiful arrangement of intricate patterns. I'm trying to incorporate it for our special day. Including Queen Anne's Lace.
