About

Eyes like a shutter, mind like a lens.

Logging Memories for History is about capturing moments.

About me:

I'm a museum professional living in Connecticut, and a photographer in my spare time. At my current employment, I photograph small to large events - my favorite jobs include energy-filled events with tons of color (outdoor or indoor). I've photographed engagement sessions, larger parties, pets, children, families.

The majority of posts you'll see on the blog here are based on my travels, and some from museum events. I'm also a lover of  education, history and leading an active and healthy lifestyle. Please feel free to email me at Laurie24154(at)gmail.com.

The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.
A Bronx Tale
It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like,
it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.
