In the High Country.
Otherwise known as Colorado and the Rockies for those who don't speak Coloradoian. What a beautiful region of the country, and those that are lucky enough to live there - I envy you!
A bit of a culture shock, however. If you insert a New Englander (a Nutmegger, especially) into Colorado, we are constantly wondering why EVERYONE is driving so slow. Don't they have someplace to be? Aren't they going to be late? I once had the opportunity to visit Fiji; when there I discovered everyone operated on "Fiji-time," meaning there is no time, as in, you get there when you get there. (I'll post those photos one day, I swear.) Colorado was much the same, and I loved it. No stress, no traffic, no rush. There's always tomorrow.
Makes you stop and think about what is really, truly important. Enjoy the images.
